The T600 EE walk-behind scrubber is ideal for some special hazardous environments.  Tennant is the only company that has a listed Type EE battery-powered floor cleaning machine. UL 583 Type EE battery-powered floor scrubbers have electrical equipment completely enclosed. Type EE battery-powered machines are usually mandated by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for use in a hazardous (classified) location.

The T600 EE is intended for use in hazardous environments that are involved in the production, handling, processing and storage of hazardous materials such as perfumes, cosmetics, paints, printing inks, pharmaceuticals and rubbers.
