Dual Speed Floor Buffer/Burnisher
SweepScrub's dual speed floor buffer/burnishers are typically used to clean, scrub, strip, spray buff, shampoo and bonnet scrub a variety of floors. Dual speed floor buffer/burnishers have two settings, low speed and high speed, generally in the range between 180 and 320 RPMs. Dual speed floor buffers are good all-purpose machines. The lower speeds can be used for tough lower-speed scrubbing jobs while the higher speeds can be used for lighter scrubbing jobs. The higher speed settings can occasionally be used for light floor buffing, although not their primary use. When used with softer pads like white pads along with spray buff or mop down restore, a good quality swing machine can be used to restore some gloss to a floor finish on a viny composition tile. However, if you need to polish/burnisher a larger area we suggest looking at our commercial or industrial high speed burnishers. Dual speed buffer/burnishers also go by other names such as low speed buffer, high speed buffer, side-to-side machines and standard floor machines to name a few. When used with soft brushes or red floor pads they can be used to clean a floor with a pH neutral or an all purpose cleaner. When used with stiffer brushes or blue or green floor pads, they can be used along with an all purpose floor cleaner to top scrub or deep scrub a floor that may or may not have floor finish applied to it. When used with heavy duty stripping brushes or black aggressive floor pads along with a commercial grade floor finish stripper low speed floor machines can be used to completely strip floor finish from a vinyl composition tile or stone floor. When used with diamond pads, they can be used to maintain and restore marble, travertine, limestone and other types of natural stone. When used with bonnets or our 3D Bonnit Brush Carpet System with carpet extraction cleaner they can be used to restore heavily soiled carpet and other carpeted traffic lanes.
